Two protocols
openai — OpenAI, Groq, DeepSeek, Mistral, xAI, Together, vLLM, Ollama, and Gemini via its OpenAI-compatible endpoint.
anthropic — Messages API. Requests and responses are translated to the OpenAI format automatically, including streaming.
Why credentials are encrypted
A provider API key grants full access to your billing. If stored in plaintext, a single database dump leaks every credential. The gateway decrypts only when calling the provider.
